Park Policies

Operating Policies and Information. Please familiarize yourself with the following information prior to making a reservation.


RV Site Maximum Occupancies:  

RV site maximum occupancy is 6 people, including children and infants, 2 pets, 1 RV and 1 auto.

Rates are based upon double occupancy (2 persons) with a charge per night per each additional person over 2 persons.

Extra Auto and Trailer parking availability is limited and should be reserved. The fee is $10 per additional vehicle and/or additional trailer per night.  Guests should contact office to check additional parking availability prior to making a reservation.

Motorcycles, bicycles, autos, trailers, and RVs must be parked on the assigned RV Site gravel pad.  Parking on the grass is not permitted.



Cancelling the reservation for any reason 30 days or less prior to reserved arrival: 
The deposit is non refundable.

Cancellation notice received more than 30 days prior to reserved arrival date: 

Less than 7 nights: $20.00 handling fee is charged and remaining deposit

For reservations of 7 nights or more: $50 handling fee is charged and remaining deposit

For reservations of 30 nights or more: $200 fee is charged and remaining deposit


Cabin Maximum Occupancies:

We are not permitted to exceed the following maximum occupancies:

Deluxe Cabin: 4 persons, 1 Auto, no pets.

2 Room Camping Cabin: 6 persons, 1 Auto, no pets.

1 Room Camping Cabin: 2 persons, 1 Auto, no pets.


Check in Time:
RV Check-in time is 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Cabin Check-in time is 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Checkout time: 10:30 AM. No exceptions please

Late arrivals are not permitted at this location.  Please plan your travel itinerary to arrive prior to 8:00 PM.

Early Arrivals: Arrivals more than one hour before our check in time of 1 PM will be charged an early arrival fee if we can accommodate the early arrival request. Guests should call prior to arriving early to check on availability.

Late Departures: Late departures generally cannot be accommodated. If you need some additional time before departing, please check with our office. If we can accommodate your needs, a fee will be assessed.

Stay Extensions: Unscheduled extensions to your stay often require a site or cabin change and will be subject to availability.

Quiet Hours: For the convenience of all our guests, we have established quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. No running of generators at any time. Do observe the quiet hours. Many guests arise early to visit Yellowstone for wildlife viewing.

Tents, screen rooms or any other structures not permanently attached to an RV are not allowed in this park.

Restrooms and showers will be closed for cleaning daily -11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Site Maintenance: Keep your site neat and free of litter including cigarettes. There are dumpsters located on each level of the park at the end of each row. Do not place mats on the grass in your site. We request you not leave chairs, games, bicycles, and other personal property on lawns that will impede lawn maintenance
For safety reasons, clothes lines are not allowed in this location. Do not hang towels, clothing, linens or other articles from trees or fences. A laundry facility with 10 dryers is available for drying.

Grill Use: Protective mats - Please always use a protective mat under any grill/cooking appliance set on our commercial plastic picnic tables. Protective mats are available from our office for guests without their own.

Food - You are visiting wildlife country. Please keep all food and coolers inside. Storing grills inside is also recommended.

Campfires - Open fires are permitted in the group campfire area only. No open fires are permitted in any RV or Cabin site.

Pet Policy - Pets are welcome in RV Sites only. Pets are not accepted in cabins. To continue welcoming pets we enforce a pet policy. A responsible owner and well-behaved pet will find these to be basic requests.

  • Pets are limited to 2 per RV Site. Pets are not permitted in cabins or cabin sites. 
  • Pets may not be kept in autos, trailers, kennels or fencing outside an RV or Cabin.   They may not be tied outside cabins.   Pets may be tied outside an RV as long as a guest accompanies them.
  • Local Law requires pets to be on a short leash (6 feet or less) at all times. 
  • A fenced dog walk area is provided for walking your pet on grass. Do not walk your pet on any other grass area including your site.
  • Quiet, well behaved pets only please.
  • If your pet is excessively noisy, please do not leave them unattended. If your pet disturbs or threatens another guest or employee of the RV Park, the pet will be asked to leave.

WIFI - Complimentary WIFI access is provided. Wi-Fi speed is impacted by usage which is high between 5:00 PM and 12:00 PM. We do not guarantee Wi-Fi access at every site. Our main building is a Wi-Fi hotspot. Our system is designed to support email, messaging, and similar communication activities.

Guests should use caution when playing near or crossing any internal RV Park’s road.   

Rocky Mountain RV Park = Cabins. will not be responsible for fire, accidents, or loss of personal property/valuables of any kind. Guests accept lodging and site rental privileges with the understanding they are responsible for their safety and their children’s safety.
